EDEN- Herman Michael "Mike" Hopkins, 49, of 206 Greenwood Street, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Overlook Cemetery .
Mr. Hopkins was born in Rockingham County to Louise Vaughn Hopkins and the late John William Hopkins. He was previously employed by American Nurseries as a potter.
Surviving are his wife, Billie Jean Hopkins of Eden; mother Louise Hopkins of the home; brother John William "J.W." Hopkins; stepson Tony Rogers of Eden; step grandchildren, Harley and Brianna; niece Teresa Proberts of Olathe, Kansas; special friends Danny and Raevone Hooker.
