Ann B. Ausherman, age 75 of Panama City, passed away Wednesday, January 09, 2008 at her son's home. She was born in Osage, West Va., and had lived in Bay County for the last 40 years. Ann worked as a private duty nurse for many years and loved taking care of people. The family extends a special thank you to the Bay County Council on Aging for all the help and all the wonderful people you sent into Mother's life.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Chester W. and Matilda W. Bonnell of Morgantown, WV, her sister, Alice Sandy, and a granddaughter Katie Ann Saluto.
Survivors include the three sons and their wives she loved so dearly, Gary R. Saluto and wife Donna Sue, Kevin L. Ausherman and wife Belinda and Michael Ausherman and wife Debbie; 4 grandsons, Peyton Saluto, K. J. Ausherman, Chris Corbitt and wife Kristi and Alan Corbitt; her two brothers, Danny Bonnell and wife Crystal and Kenneth Bonnell, a brother-in-law Eugene Sandy, and a loving niece Brenda Almond, and family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ann's name may be made to the Bay County Council On Aging, 1116 Frankford Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405 or to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405.
