CRABTREE - Charles Bostwick, 82, died Saturday in Salem.
Born in Reardon, Wash., he moved to Oregon at the age of 11 and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1934. He served in the Army during World War II and worked as a logger throughout his life in Oregon and Alaska, retiring and moving to Florida in 1975. He returned to Oregon in 1985 and lived in Lebanon before moving to Crabtree. He enjoyed gardening and lapidary. His wife, Hoyett, is deceased.
Survivors include brothers, John of Salem and Chet of Mesa, Ariz.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Lacomb Cemetery. Arrangements are by Huston mortuary.
