Our father, Richard "Roy" LeRoy Litson, died at his home on May 5, 2008 at the age of 87, surrounded by his loving family.

Dad was born May 18, 1920 in Murray, Utah to William and Doreen Litson. He married Dolores McCleery on June 18, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in the Navy during World War II as an engineman. Dad retired from Riverton Motor as a shop foreman and was well known in Riverton for announcing rodeos, 4th of July Celebrations and parades in his green panel truck.

Dad was very talented in woodworking and made and sold his many creations at his home in Murray. He and mom spent their winter retired years in Quartzite, Arizona where they enjoyed the company of many friends. Dad loved spending his time in the outdoors with his family hunting, fishing and camping. He left behind a family tradition of spending Easter in the desert.
