Lillie Mae Brewer, 80, of Crossville, passed away April 25, 2003. Funeral services were conducted April 27 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Leffle Webb Cemetery. Bro. Kenneth Cole officiated.
Mrs. Brewer was born in Jan. 16, 1923 in Fentress County, TN, the daughter of Andrew and Virginia Hall Neely.
She was a retired nurse's aid and attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Roger Wyatt of Crossville; Wanda and Joseph Schmidt of Cleveland, OH and Cindy Spriggs of Crossville; son, William H. "Bill" Brewer of Crossville; grandchildren, Shaunda and Lucas Wyatt of Crossville, Denese Berry of Cape Coral, FL, Marty Brewer of Crossville, Tim Wyatt of Port Richie, FL, Jenelle Nance of Panama City Beach, FL and Mechele McDaniel of Nashville; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Travis Berry of Cape Coral, FL, Brandon Williams of Crossville, Courtney Nance of Panama City Beach, FL, and Haley and Maggie Jo Spriggs; brothers, Buster, Bill and Red Neely, all of Crossville; and sisters, Hattie Burgess and Lucy Campbell of Crossville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Bud" Brewer Sr.; sons, Tony Brewer and Edward D. Brewer Jr.; brothers, Johnny and Sam Neely; and sisters, Ollie Neely and Effie Hoover.
Pallbearers were Dean Neely, Willie Burgess, Johnny Clyde Burgess, Marty Brewer, Brandon Williams and Tim Wyatt.
