Chris Stromberg Jenson 1960 ~ 2007

Our beloved Ann-Charlott Christine (Chris) Stromberg Jenson was released from this earth on August 27, 2007. She was born on February 28, 1960, in Jakobstad, Vasa, Finland to Stig A. Stromberg and Ceidie G. Eriksson Stromberg. She was the third child of six. Chris came to the United States with her family in 1969. She graduated from Hillcrest High School and attended Ricks College. She chose the career of a travel agent; and was excellent in the business, loving her work, friends and travel experiences. She married Brent William Jenson in 1988 in the Salt Lake Temple. They became parents to three wonderful children, two boys and one girl. Their family was very close, enjoying most experiences together. Chris loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and had a vibrant testimony of its truthfulness. She served in a variety of positions in the Young Women's, Primary, and as Relief Society president and counselor. She was also a faithful Relief Society visiting teacher. Chris was a kind and caring person, never judgmental. She is a true example of charity, the pure love of Christ and was loved by all who knew her. She touched many lives for good.
She is survived by her loving husband Brent, son Ryan, age 18; daughter Kasey, age 16; and a son Austin, age 14; also her parents, two sisters and three brothers, as well as Brent's parents and three sisters. She also leaves many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
A viewing will be on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, at 1 p.m. Friends may call one hour before the service. Both will be held at the Bingham Creek Stake Center on 2200 W. 8539 S. in West Jordan. Interment will be at the West Jordan Cemetery. The family would like to thank friends and the Hospice Specialists for their loving service to Chris.
