"Mrs. Sarah Brobst, 89, wife of Adam Brobst of Canfield, died last Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. E. Bailey, Lordstown township. She had been in failing health for some time and several weeks ago was removed from the family home on Turner street, Canfield township to that of her daughter, who gave her every care. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kline, pioneers of the county, born Aug. 17, 1842, on a farm near Rosemont now owned by her nephew, Fred Kline, and her life was spent in this immediate neighborhood for quite a number of years residing in Canfield before removing to Turner Street. Her marriage to Mr. Brobst was on May 22, 1863, and last May they celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. She was a most kindly woman, one who took deep interest not only in her own family but in many others. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Ida Cramer, Warren and Mrs. Bailey, Lordstown; three sons, H. Elmer and Clyde Brobst, Canfield, and Rev. Harry N. Brobst, Columbus, 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services held from the Bailey home Monday [28th] afternoon at 2 o'clock were in charge of Rev. C. W. Zahnow of Warren. Pallbearers were Luther, Edison, Sydney, Wilford and Eugene Brobst and Noble Cramer, all grandsons. Interment was in North Jackson cemetery."
