Laura Simpson Hamm, 41, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a homemaker.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. J. W. Curry & Son Funeral Home has charge.

She leaves two daughters, Shelly Cox and Amy Cox; a son, Richard W. H. Cox, and her mother, Minnie Zaricor, all of Dyersburg; her father and stepmother, Hershel and Mae Simpson of Finley; three sisters, Joann Henry of Greenfield, Martha Jean Nelson of Dyersburg and Amanda Dean of Dresden; five brothers, Michael Simpson of Newbern, Timothy Simpson of Texas, and Hershel Simpson III, James Simpson and Jimmy Martindale, all of Dyersburg, and a grandchild, Jon Michael Ward.
