ISAIAH GOODRICH BEAM
Isaiah Goodrich Beam, son of Michael and Juliana Beam was born in Lena, Illinois, October 23,1871, and departed this life Tuesday morning, April 16, 1935, at the age of 64 years, 5 months, and 24 days.
When eleven years old he moved, to Davenport with his parents and farmed with his, father and also for himself until 1903. After this he installed a telephone and a lighting system and continued in this work until 1914. In 1915 he moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, where he engaged in various occupations.
On September 8, 1892 he was married to Emma Rile, and to this union were born four children, Harry Melvin and Irl Goodwin of Twin Falls, Idaho; Ruth Edna Miller of Tule, California, and Ada who died in infancy. One sister, Mrs.
Phoebe Glock survives him and one brother; James, proceeded him in death. Others who mourn his death are, four grandchildren, two nieces and many friends.
He was baptized and became a member of Christ's Lutheran Church April 5, 1896. He acted as superintendent of the Sunday School for several years and was always faithful and willing to lend his efforts in all of the church activities. After moving to Idaho he united with the
Presbyterian Church.
Weep not that his toils are over,
Weep not that his pace is won,
God grant we may rest as calmly
When our work like his is done.
Till then we would yield with gladness
Our treasures to Him to keep
And rejoice in the sweet assurance
He giveth His loved ones sleep.

Good Beam, 65, of Twin Falls, Idaho, who suffered a fracture skull in an auto accident near Harvard, a month ago, died at a hotel in Harvard. Beam had been visiting relatives at Davenport, his former home, and the accident occurred when he was on his way to Hastings to take the train home. Funeral will be at Davenport.

Good Beam, Twin Falls resident, who was injured in an auto accident near Harvard, Neb., several weeks ago, died there at 7:30 a.m. today according to word received today from his son, Harry Beam, who was at his father's bedside.

Mr. Beam telegraphed that he was taking the body to Davenport, Neb. Other details were lacking this afternoon.

Mr. Beam was a member of the Twin Falls Masonic Lodge.
