Mrs. Mariette Mabel Binder, 71, life long resident of Elkton vicinity, died at her home April 17. She was born in Elkton December 24, 1875, the daughter of pioneer parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Benton Haines, and was married to Charles Binder June 8, 1899 at Elkton. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Among her many survivors are a brother, Blaine Haines, Cottage Grove; a brother Ivan Haines, Drain; and a sister, Mrs. Nannie Cox, Reedsport.
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Elkton Methodist Church. Stearns Mortuary will be in charge.
