Rev. S. Schuyler Stephenson
Many will be grieved to learn of the passing of another of our beloved soldiers of the cross.
Rev. S. Schuyler Stephenson of Lesterville was laid to rest September 13 in the Masonic Cemetery at Lesterville. Rev. Stephenson had nearly reached the age of 84. He had been actively interested in Christian service since his entrance into the ministry at the age of 19. His late years found him serving in the capacity of a layman in his home church.
Having graduated from William Jewell College, he finished his ministerial preparation in Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.
Surviving are his widow and a niece and three nephews, and a host of friends.
