Mrs. Mary A. Bohnsack, aged 74 years, 9 months and 27 days, wife of Fred Bohnsack, died at the family home near Zalma, Friday, November 13, 1942. Mrs. Bohnsack was born January 16, 1868 near Marble Hill and and was a daughter of the late George W. and Sarah Hahn. She was married to Fred Bohnsack, February 22, 1891. To this union five children were born, all of whom survive.
Mrs. Bohnsack became a member of the Methodist church at an early age.
She spent her entire life in Bollinger County.
She is survived by her husband, three sons and two daughters, who are: Raymond and Homer and Mrs. Nora Umfleet at home; Roy and Mrs. Eda Mansker of Advance, MO; one brother, Ora Hahn of Marble Hill, MO; eight grandsons and four granddaughters.
The body was removed to Baker Funeral Home where it remained until Saturday when it was taken back to the home. Funeral services were conducted Monday by Rev. Ernest Slovensky and burial was in the Balch Cemetery, near the family home.
