CENTERTON -- Alva I. Trumbo, of Centerton, died Aug. 16, 2006, at her home. She was born in Burnsville, N.C., to Carl and Etta McCury Silver. She moved to the area in 1995 from Duncan, Okla. She was a homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts, canning and antiques. She raised miniature doberman pinchers for several years. She was a member of New Vison Church of God in Springdale and sang in the choir for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Walter Lee Trumbo of the home; four sons, Rev. Walt Trumbo Jr. and wife Bonnie of Little Town, Calif., Victor Silver of San Jose, Calif., Chris Trumbo and wife Donna of Malvern and Micheal Trumbo and wife Paula of Malvern; two daughters, Nancy Lalande and husband Tom of Rockland, Calif., and Sue Taxara of Redding, Calif.; two brothers, Dwight Silver of Martha's Vineyard, Va.
Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Day Star Church of God in Rogers with Dean Baker and Lowell Sartin officiating.
