Frank W. Hankins, for forty years a resident of this vicinity, passed away Tuesday at his home in Clairon, at the age of sixty. His death was due to heart trouble and came about while Mr. Hankins was working at the barn. Besides his widow he leaves behind seven sons and three daughters. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Frank Hankins passed away at his home here last Wednesday after a year's illness. He was about 62 years of age and besides his widow he is survived by seven sons, E.R. Hankins of Wabmeme, B.T. Hankins of Cadillac, J.M. of Petoskey, Dan Hankins, who is in the U.S. Service in California at this time, Richard, who is at Lansing Jack, Clifford and Billie who are at home here. Also three daughters, Nellie Fine of Grand Rapids, Bessie Neilson of Edmore and Maud, at home.
He also had a large circle of friends having lived in the vicinity practically all of his life.
The family,with exception of Dan Hankins, were all present at the funeral today.
