Two Lambert Children Die When Home Damaged By Fire Saturday
Charles Lambert, age 4, and Melissa Ann Lambert, age 1, both died in flames that severely damaged the upstairs apartment in which they lived last Saturday night night about 9 o'clock. They were the children of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lambert.
Funeral services for the two children were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Church of God of Prophecy on Highway 32 with Revs. T. A. Dewberry and Buford Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Chickasaw Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pegues Funeral Home of Tupelo in charge.
