Arnold Ray Collins, 68, of Clark entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral from the Walter J. Johnson Funeral Home, 803 Raritan Road, Clark, on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 8 a.m., and thence to St. John the Apostle Church, Clark, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Born in Westfield, N.C., Mr. Collins lived in Roselle for 32 years before moving to Clark five years ago. He owned the Clark White Diamond in Clark for 20 years.
Mr. Collins was a former member of the Elks in Rahway. He organized the concession stand for Pop Warner Football in Roselle.
He was the beloved husband for 49 years of Mrs. Patricia Ann (Savage) Collins; devoted father of Mr. Arnold Collins and his wife, Mary Ann, of N.Y., Mr. Kevin Collins and his wife, Tammy, of Clark, Mr. Joseph Collins and his wife, Cheryl, of Rahway, and Mrs. Patrice Winter and her husband, John, of Cranford; cherished grandfather of John, Ryan, Brandon, Marrissa, Kaitlin, Taylor, Lauren and Aaron.
Mr. Collins is also survived by 10 brothers and seven sisters.
