Phillip K. Albright
SYRACUSE — Phillip K. Albright,
58, of Star Route, Apollo, Pa., formerly
of Syracuse, died Tuesday at his
home.
Born in Syracuse Feb. 14, 1923 to
Phillip K. and Ethel Greenway Albright,
he had been in the Apollo area
three years. He was field operations
supervisor for Baron Crest Oil Co. of
Apollo for three years. Mr. Albright
was a U.S. Army Veteran of World
War II, and a member of the Apollo
Elks and Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Eileen
Scarterfield Albright; a son, Phillip
Mark of Union Springs; four daughters,
Mrs. Jacqueline Spillet of Apollo;
Mrs. Victoria Gardner of Houston,
Texas; Mrs. Rebecca Ann Smith of
Union Springs; Patricia Rae Albright
of New Kensington, Pa.; eight grandchildren,
and brother, George, of
Sebastian, Florida.
Friends were received in the Gary
T. Curran Funeral Home of Apollo,
where services were held with the the
Rev. Father John H. Burke of St.
James Catholic Church of Apollo officiating.
Burial was in Calverton National
Cemetery, Long Island.
