Oren Franklin Wilson, 93, 180 Grove St, Mill City died Monday, Sept 10 at his home. Born in Canton, Ill, he moved to Oregon from Idaho in 1939. He lived in the Albany area until moving to Mill City in 1971. He was a retired sawmill worker.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel; sons, James, Bend, George, Redmond; daughters, Myrtle Phillips, Mill City, Martha Tannahill, Kennewick, Wash., Nona Roth, Scio, Velman Jensen, Aumsville, Lela Smith, Corvallis; 36 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 pm. Thursday at Fox Valley Cemetery, Lyons, under the direction of Weddle Funeral Home, Stayton.
He married Ethel Ann Loper on October 14, 1913
