LINDSBORG ~ Amelia Cox, 91, Lindsborg, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 1995, at the Bethany Home, Lindsborg.

Mrs. Cox was born Amelia Dipple on March 24, 1904, at Oshkosh, Wisc., and was a Lindsborg resident since 1989, moving from rural Assaria. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women of the church and was active in Extension Homemakers Unit and the Lindsborg Community Hospital Auxiliary.

Her husband, Fred D. Cox, Sr., died in 1973.

Survivors include: a son, Fred D. Cox, Jr. of Assaria; two daughters, Luella Hilston of Madison, Wisc., and Linda Martin of Lenexa; four sisters, Mathilda Boldt of Pratt, Rosa Yost of LaCrosse, Selma Wikoff and Bertha Kretzmann, both of Lyons; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Lindsborg, the Revs. Larry Nutter and Don Hawk officiating. Burial will be in the Assaria Church cemetery.
