Bradley Alan Cox

Bradley Alan Cox, 44, of Nampa died peacefully at his home on September 10, 2002.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2002, at the United Methodist Church, 824 Logan Street in Caldwell with burial immediately following at Canyon Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Caldwell.

Brad was born May 29, 1958 in Caldwell, Idaho to Barbara and LeGrande Cox Jr.. He graduated from Caldwell High School and attended College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls. Brad joined the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve in 1976 and served for seven years. He worked for Boise Valley Monument Company in Caldwell during his high school years and spent six years with Jellison Madland Monument Company in Twin Falls. He began his career in car sales with Roy Raymond Ford of Twin Falls. In 1995 he transferred to Larry Miller Ford in Nampa and at the time of his death, was Fleet Department Manager.

While living in Twin Falls, Brad and his family attended Bethel Temple Church in Twin, and for three years, he served as pastor of the Jackpot Apostolic Church in Jackpot, Nevada. During the last three years of his life, Brad served as pastor of Landmark Christian Fellowship Church in Nampa.

Brad married Kathleen Ann Herrmann October 22, 1978 in Eden, Idaho. Their union blessed with three children, Michael Fitzgerald (18), Ami Michelle (17), and Anna Marie (15).

Brad lived his life for God and showed his children and many others the true way of life. He gave his time and love to his family and his church. His children consider him by far, "The Best Daddy Ever," and shared many memorable hunting trips with his son Michael. He was a very loving and compassionate husband and best friend to his wife, Kathy. Brad touched many lives, and healed many hearts through his ministry for God. Throughout his illness, he displayed an aura of grace that served as a beautiful testimony to the joy and comfort that faith in God provides. He was a source of strength and comfort to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father and an infant brother Alan Lee Cox.

He is survived by his wife, and three children, his mother, Barbara Galloway of Concord, California, his brother, Brian (Cindy) Cox of Rupert, Idaho; his sister, Leona (Phil) Fouts of Caldwell; his grandfather, Wendell J. Forney of Concord, California; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to St. Luke's Hospice, MSTI of Nampa, and to all Brad's friends and loved ones that contributed prayers and for financial donations to his benefit fund during the past 18 months.
