FAYETTEVILLE--Dr. Jacob Claud Agee, 69, of Fayetteville, AR died September 7, 1997, at Washington Regional Medical Center.

Born December 10, 1927, at Pine Bluff, he was a son of Asa B. and Ora Hollabaugh Agee.

He graduated from Pine Bluff High School, attended Louisiana Tech University and was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and Baylor College of Dentistry.

He was a member and past president of Fayetteville Noon Lions Club, past president of the Arkansas Academy of General Dentistry, a volunteer with the Fayetteville Youth Dental Program, and a member of Central United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Martha McCracken Agee; a son, Dr. Kim Agee of Hot Springs; three daughters, Mignonne Agee Scarbrough of Fayetteville, Chandra Agee Weeks of Littleton, Colorado, and Eve Agee of Fayetteville; a brother, Aaron Agee of Brooklyn, NY; a sister, Erlene Agee Swepston of Fayetteville; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Central United Methodist Church at Fayetteville. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Flippin Cemetery in Flippin by Moore's Chapel Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
