He was born Jan.13, 1924, in Detroit.
Mr. Mulawa retired as a cutter grinder from Ford Motor Co.
He enjoyed collecting coins, gardening and playing cards.
He also loved playing horseshoes and going on picnics.
His family said he was devoted to his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Ronald Mulawa, Donna (William) Wolowicz and Mark (Debbie) Mulawa; grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeffrey Wolowicz, and Brandon and Ryan Mulawa; and siblings, Robert Mulawa, Audrey Bannasch, Shirley O'Kray and Marion (Gerald) Kwaitkowski.
He was predeceased by his wife, Helen and brother Richard Mulawa.
A prayer service will be held at 9:15 a.m.
Monday at Clyne & Sobocinski Funeral Home, 22121 Kelly, Eastpointe, followed by a 10 a.m.
Mass celebration at St.Angela Catholic Church, 25395 Chippendale, Roseville.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
