From her Obituary:
In Loving Memory of Bonnie Jean Young
Born: February 18, 1938
Died: Monday, August 19, 2013 - 6:35 PM
A woman loved by God and who loved God, loved, cared for her children and
family, a devoted and hard working Arvada Police Department Administrator for 26
½ years, a good friend to countless co-workers, friends and companions from all
walks of life. Preceded in death by her Father, Guy L. Young and her Mother,
Corrinne B. Young. Survived by Daughter: Ann M. McDonald, Son: Alan L. Davis,
Sister: Shirley Y. Deines and Husband Foster, Nephews: Troy and Kurt Deines and
Kurt's wife Carrie.
A face from our household is gone,
A voice we loved is still:
A place is vacant in our home (but NEVER from our hearts!),
Which never can be filled.
Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His saints.
(Psalms 116:15 NKJV)
We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
(2 Corinthians 5:8 NKJV)
When we all get to heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We'll sing and shout the victory!
(From the old hymn by Eliza E. Hewitt, pub.1898)
