Vivian Beanna Davis, 79, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs on Friday, October 5. Vivian was born in Modale on 20 (Should be 28) July, 1900. Her husband William Davis, of Council Bluffs, and their two daughters, Mrs. Tommy Davis of El Cajon, California and Mrs. Elva Alexander of Lake Wood, California survive her. Vivian is also survived by her brother, Wlater Parker of Montana, and her sister Elga Messer of Logan. She had four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was a life long resident of Modale until six years ago, when she and her husband moved to Council Bluffs, following a severe illiness. For over 25 years, she was the telephone operator in Modale, and a member of Modale Eastern Star, Rebecca Lodge, and she was active in community affairs. Burial was on Tuesday October 9, in Calhoun.
