Thad Carrol Smith passed away at home with his loving family.

He was born in Wannette, Ok.

He served with the U.S. Marines in the Pacific during WWII.

Carrol married the love of his life, Helen Addy, on April 5, 1945.

He retired to Lemoore in 1973 after 29 years of service with Chevron.

Carrol loved to go RVing with family, friends and the Happy Campers. He made his dream trip to Alaska in 2006. His family loved him very much and he will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn LeBaron.

Carrol is survived by Helen, his wife of 63 years; children, Beverly Johnson and Thad Jr.; grandsons, Thomas Donnell and his wife Janet and Bryan Johnson; granddaughters and their spouses, Jennifer and Edgar Molina, Brandy and Inez Rodriquez, Serena and Bob Walker, Terrie Blanton and Carrie Smith; nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great grand-children.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at Jack Stone's Barn in Lemoore on Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 4:00 p.m.
