Clifford Pennell Sr., 92, of Elizabethtown died at 10:01 p.m. Friday at Hardin County Hospital.
Mr. Pennell was a retired electrician for Ozark-Mahoning Mining.
Surviving are three daughters, Pauline Walker of Elizabethtown, Paula Russell of Rosiclare and Brenda Frailey of Cave-in-Rock; one sister, Mildred Meeks of Sesser; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Pennell; one son, Clifford Pennell Jr.; and one daughter, Barbara Fields. His parents were Alex and Sarah Ledbetter Pennell.
Private services will be held later; there will be no visitation. Burial will be in Rutherford Cemetery.
