KELLER Lydia HERTZOG 1845 - 1919

Mrs. Lydia Hertzog, widow of the late Samuel Hertzog, died on Monday at the Lancaster General Hospital, aged 73 years, 7 months and 7 days. Her husband died about nine years ago. She is survived by the following children: Alice, wife of Phares M. Fry, of Clay township; Ida, wife of Lemon Adams, Reamstown; Harvey, residing on the old homestead in the Hertzog Valley, West Cocalico township; Jerome, Reamstown; Harry, Hertzog Valley; Menno, near Schoeneck. There are 45 surviving grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her mother, Elizabeth Keller, widow of the late Michael Keller, of Ephrata also survives at the age of 98 years. Also the following brothers and sisters: Catharine, wife of Reuben Fahnestock and Mary, wife of John Hibshman, both of Ephrata; Lizzie, wife of Wilson Bard, of Oregon; Nathan Keller, of Lincoln, Pa., Benjamin, and Martha, wife of Peter Burkholder, both of Octavia, Nebraska. The funeral will be held from the home of her son-in-law, Phares M. Fry, at 9:30 a. m. Thursday, April 10, followed by services at Mellinger's meeting house near Schoeneck. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
