Anna Mae Allen, 98, passed away February 16, 2024, in Highlandville, Mo. She was born August 12, 1925 in Mabelvale, Ark., to the late Bert and Lydia (Turner) Marsh.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Milton V. Allen; son, Marvin Allen; daughter, Anna Howell; and five siblings.
Anna enjoyed many hobbies including photography, sewing, crocheting, playing Canasta with her friends, TOPS, and being involved in church activities as a member of Life Line Baptist Church in Little Rock. She loved all animals, but was especially attached to cats. Tom was her feline companion for the last few years.
Those left to cherish the memories of Anna include her sons, Charles "Chuck" (Linda) Allen and Bert "Dewayne" (Charlotte) Allen; son-in-law Dick Howell; Seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; Eight great-great-grandchildren; as well as several extended family members and close friends.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St. in Little Rock. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Anna will be laid to rest following the service at Little Rock National Cemetery.
