Emma Melissa Jane Selvidge, a resident of Henryetta was born April 4, 1920 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Lena and William Armer. She passed away Monday, October 16, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years 6 months and 12 days.
She was a member of Dustin Assembly of God and the Henryetta Assembly of God and she was a longtime resident of Dustin before moving to Henryetta.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, Haskell "Hack" Selvidge on July 20, 1977; daughter, Darla Gene, 4 sisters, Opal Josie, Mamie and Ethelene, 2 brothers, M.R. Armer, and Bill Armer.
Survived by her Children, Joe, Shirley, Mary, Raymond, Cathey, Betty, & Mickey, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, many friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Billy Brown, Jeff Selvidge, Steve Selvidge, Eddie Brown, Charles Selvidge, Larry Selvidge, and Nicklas Selvidge.
Services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Dustin Assembly of God officiated by Rev. Rodney George. Burial will be at Dustin Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
