Service for James R Agee were held Saturday December, 18 1999 at 11 a. m. in DaySpring Presbyterian Church in Forsyth with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens.

Agee 78 died Wednesday Dec. 15, 1999. The son of the late William H and Beulah Agee. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a retired vice-president and manager of Cable Shaw Charter and was a member of the Gideons and the Forsyth/Monroe County Lions Club. He was a member of the DaySpring Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mattie Mozell Agee, children James Robert Agee, Jr. , of Montgomery, AL., Paul Daniel Agee of Florida, and Mark William Agee of Atlanta, GA, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
