Aurel D. Milner (nee Greathouse) was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on April 30, 1927, where she graduated from Miller High School. She married Allen "Sonny" Milner and they moved to San Antonio in 1956 where they became active members of Woodlawn Christian Church. She died on August 30, 2021, at the age of 94.
Aurel was a homemaker who, after the children were grown, owned and managed a Cleaning Ideas and Beauty Supply Store in Universal City. She enjoyed playing card games, making all types of crafts, and especially making beautiful artificial flower arrangements.
Aurel was predeceased by her husband of 47 years Allen R. "Sonny" Milner, Sr. She is survived by her brother Wayne Greathouse (Susan) of Corpus Christi, sister Carolyn Peres (Bob) of Modesto California, son Allen Milner Jr. (Becky), daughter Karen Weiss (Don), granddaughter Renee Ray (Jason), great-granddaughter Katelynn Ray, and numerous nieces and nephews.
