Mrs. Carrie Gayler, 77 of 400 North Quincy St. Commerce, was found dead in her home at 2:00 pm Monday. The death was attributed to natural causes.
Mrs. Gayler, a native of Kansas, had lived in Commerce since 1948. Her husband, William Gayler died in 1950.
Survivors included one daughter, Mrs. O. Lex Bilke of Riverton, Kans.; sisters Mrs. Charles Osborne of Miami and Delle Burns of Lincoln, Neb.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 Wednesday in the Chapel of Wene Funeral Home, Baxter Springs. Burial will be in the Lowell Cemetery.
