A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 18th, 1999 for 88-year-old William H. Allen of Perryville who died Sunday, May 16th at Gracemont Care Services in Perryville.

He was born August 12th, 1910 in Mineral Wells, Texas, the son of Walter E. Allen and Diedama O. Smith Millfeldt Allen who both preceded in death.

He married Betty Tanner on December 22nd, 1967 in Perryville. She survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by one daughter: Patricia Heaps of Perryville.

Two step-daughters also survive: Mary Lou Heinrich of Canton, Ohio and Patricia A. Shaw of Woodsfield, Ohio.

He is also survived by a sister: Bertha Louise Goodwin of Fort Worth, Texas.

Seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and one step-great-great-grandchild also survive.

He was employed at the Sieberling Tire and Rubber Company and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Perryville, Holy Name Society, American Legion, Am Vets and a life member of the VFW.

Visitation from 4-9 p.m. this (Monday) afternoon and evening at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. and VFW service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation also from 6:30-11:20 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 88-year-old William H. Allen of Perryville will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Perryville. The Rev. Richard Lause, C.M., will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the food pantry at St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
