The Lord took LeRoy home to be united with his wife Mary and his youngest son Charles, on Thursday, April 24, 2008. He was born January 15, 1925. LeRoy grew up in Blanchard, Oklahoma. At the age of 18, he was inducted into the USA Navy and served on two WWII battleships, USS Washington and USS McIntyre until his honorable Fireman, First Class discharge Dec. 1945. He worked at Tinker field until retirement. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a life member of VFW Post 9265. He is survived by his son, Bill McDonald and daughter-in-law Sherri daughter Linda Clouette and son-in-law Dave daughter Shirley McCartney daughter-in-law Toni McDonald and sister, Bernice Maxfield of California. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Monday, April 28, 2008, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel and will be laid to rest at Blanchard Cemetery.
