JERRY RONALD CARTER:
Born: October 12, 1946 in Overton County, TN
Died: March 27, 2008 at Triumph Hospital in Detroit, Wayne County, at age 61
Son of the late John A. & Emily Elizabeth (Richardson) Carter
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his long time soul mate Mona Oliveri Carter, his brother Willie Coy; and a sister, Floy Harvey.
Survivors include a daughter. Elizabeth Susan Carter of Chicago, Illinois; 2 brothers, John H. Carter & Stanley Carter, both of Monroe; 5 sisiters, Marie Sells of Allons, Irene Carter of Livingston, Betty Verble of Algood, Ann Gabbard of Ohio, Etta Leske of Michigan; and a host of nephews & nieces.
A memorial service was held April 24, 2008 at Northeast Church of Christ, 15537 E. Nine Mile Rd. (near Gratiot) Eastpointe, Wayne County, Michigan.
The body was cremated.
