Obituary

Sarah E. Wright died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. W. Dunkle, July 30, 1912 at 10 o'clock of old age. At the time of her death she was 90 years, 6 months and 24 days of age.
She was born at Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, Jan. 6, 1822. She was married in 1850 to James d. Wright, there being five children born to them, and four by her last husband.
Those by the first husband are Joseph Browning of Columbus, Ohio, Samuel Browning having died, Horace Browning of Blair, Neb., Emma Johnson of Denver, Colo.
Her children by her last husband are Mrs. D. W. Dunkle, of Woodbine, Iowa, Craig Wright of Blair, Neb., Mrs. Luther Melton, Lamonta, Oregon, and eighteen grand children, only two being present at the funeral, Sherman Slayback, Woodbine, Iowa, and Mrs. Ed Pyles of Crofton, Neb.
She was a member of the Methodist church since fifteen years of age, her funeral being held from the Methodist church at Woodbine, Iowa, and preached by Rev. Ackerman of the Presbyterian church at 11;30 on August 2, 1812, and then her body was shipped to Kennard, Neb., and laid to rest by her last husband, short services being held at the grave.
The pall bearers at Woodine, Iowa, were C.P. Fornod, E.V. Hawkins, E.D. Haworth, C.B. Williams, D.W. Bennett, H.B. Harris.
She was a kind and loving mother, a friend of all who knew her. She was faithful and patient to the last.
