Mary Blair was born 4 November 1831 to Isaac and Margaret Ann Weeks Blair. She was born in either Ross or Crawford County, Ohio. On 5 May 1850 she married Solomon L. Bever in Crawford County, Ohio. By 1860 this family had moved to Nottingham Township, Wells County, Indiana. There were five children born of this union, George A., Isaac, Margaret (my great-great-grandmother), Bethuel and Jacob. Solomon L. Bever join the Union Army during the Civil War from the state of Ohio. He died in 1866 in Ohio and Mary married Beezel Guess and one son, Aaron Guess is born. After the death of Beezel Guess she married Noah Croy on 16 December 1869. Three daughters are born of this union, Minnie Levy (Forney), Naoma Della "Dilley" (Ellsworth) and Elizabeth Isadora "Lizzie" (Pugh).
Mary Blair Bever Guess Croy died on 26 May 1907 in Wells County and according to her death certificate she is buried in the Stahl Cemetery. No tombstone has been found to mark the grave of my great-great-great-grandmother.
