KINGSTON MAN DIED IN DOCTOR' OFFICE
Frank Archer Passed Away Unexpectedly on Friday Afternoon.
Frank Archer, 72, residing north-east of Kingston, passed away unexpectedly in a physician's office in Cass City Friday afternoon where he had gone to secure advice regarding his illness.
After Dr. I. D. McCoy had given Mr. Archer an examination in his private office at Pleasant Home Hospital, the physician stepped across the hall to inform Verne Everett, who had brought Mr. Archer to Cass City, of the seriousness of the sick man's condition. Mr. Archer's heart, doctor found, was seriously affected and Mr. Everett was told that someone should assist Mrs. Archer, who is near the age of 70, in the care of her husband.
A telephone ring summoned the doctor to his private office after but a few minutes' absence and when he arrived there, Mr. Archer had passed away. Directly after the examination, Mr. Archer had put on his coat and then sat down on a davenport to await the return of the two men. It was there that he was found when they returned to the office.
Funeral services were held in the Karr undertaking rooms at Kingston Sunday afternoon, Rev. Mr. Sherk officiating.
