Richard and many of the Eubank/s clan were originally buried in the Eubank/s Family cemetery.

This cemetery was allowed to be destroyed by cattle, as fencing was removed. When this cemetery was discovered by descendants, only three remaining stones were leaning against a tree, not located over their graves. Due to the condition of the cemetery/cow pasture, these stones were lovingly placed with other Eubanks family members in Mercer Cemetery.

It was learned that previously other Eubank/s family gravestones were removed and placed in the Freedom Cemetery, Pulaski, KY by one of the Higgins relatives. Added by: D. Singleton
