Mr. Milton Saye,
Pioneer Athenian,
Passes Away Wed.

Mr. Milton B. Saye, 81 years of age and a pioneer Athenian, died Wednesday night at the home, 373 Oak Street. He was ill a year. Mr. Saye had lived in Athens for more than 60 years and is survived by a large number of friends and relatives. He was a contractor here and had built many homes in Athens.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon, at 3:30 at Bernstein Bros., chapel with Rev. S. J. Cartledge in charge. Burial was in Oconee cemetery. Bernstein Bros. Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers were: Carl Epps, A. G. Dudley, N. A. Smith, R. L. Seagraves, Joe Fambro, Walter Crawford.

Surviving Mr. Saye are the following relatives: Widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Saye; three daughters, Mrs. H. P. Sailors, Atlanta, GA, Mrs. R. L. McCune, Athens; Mrs. Frank Crawford, Athens. Two sons, Messers. J. T. and W. F. Saye, Athens, GA. Seventeen grand children two great grand children.
