Gaff Laurel E, 81, of Columbia City, died March 30, 2006 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He operated a farm and stock truck business for many years in Green Twp and had also been employed at W.A. Jones & Son in Columbia City for more than 35 years.
He was born Aug. 19, 1924 in Noble County to Milo and Abby (Ott) Gaff.
He married Jean Heintzelman. She died in 1993. Surviving are 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Ken of Columbia City and Randy and Diana of Churubusco; a daughter and son-in-law, LaDonna and Joel Hoehn of Ossian; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Neda of Ligonier; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Services Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Columbia City. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery. ^ 4-3-2006
