DEATH TAKES PIONEER MAN
George B. Churchill, Who Came to This District 59 Years Ago, Passes Away
The death of George B. Churchill, aged 69, pioneer Southwest Washington resident, occurred this afternoon at his home, 1000 North Tower avenue. Born in Jasper City, Iowa, he came to Centralia in 1880, moved to Tenino five years later, and then returned her to make his home three months ago.
Surviving the deceased are his wife, Ollie; four children, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The children are Mrs. J. P. Daniels and Dewey Churchill, Centralia; Mrs. Herman Bowers, Poulsbo, and Thomas Churchill, Empire, Ore. A sister, Mrs. B. A. Foster, resides at Langlois, Ore.
Mr. Churchill's body was removed in the Newell-Hoerling mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
