Irene was active in the Altar Guild of Emanuel Lutheran Church and past president and long time member of Women in Construction. She was a retired Accountant.
Survived by sisters, Deneze Sloan of Burbank and Frances Jalbert of Grandin, North Dakota; brother, Douglas Ludwig of Hillsboro, North Dakota; and numerous nephews and nieces including Greg Sloan of Escondido, California.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 12, 2001 at Pierce Brothers Valhalla. In lieu of flowers send donations to the City of Hope, Duarte, California. Pierce Bros Valhalla Mortuary North Hollywood (818) 763-9121
