Elaine J. Seguer, 66, of Westport, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at home following a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Henry A. and Blanche A. (Riley) Seguer, she had resided in Dartmouth before moving to Westport in 1980. She was a graduate of Dartmouth High School, class of 1966.
Elaine had worked as a project manager for Verizon for over 30 years.
She was a member of the Allendale Country Club and past chair member of the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce. Elaine loved golfing, reading and spending time at the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary.
Her family includes her siblings, Mae Halle of New Bedford, Albert Seguer of Dartmouth, Robert Seguer of Leominster, Denise Blanchard and husband Ronnie , Sheila Seguer, Hazel Bettencourt and Gale Seguer all of New Bedford and Jacqueline Seguer of Dartmouth; her lifelong friend, Deborah Johansen of Westport; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Seguer.
