Joseph C. Fedoush Sr., 57 of 819 Freeport Road, Acmetonia, Harmar Township, died today (April 26, 1977 at 4:40 am. in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He had been ill since Friday and was admitted to the hospital yesterday afternoon.

Mr. Fedoush was born Oct. 28, 1919, in Cunningham, Butler County, to Michael and Maria Mizenko Fedoush.

After a year in Springdale High School, he attended Conley Trade School, Pittsburgh, to become a welder.

He entered the service Nov. 6, 1944 and was discharged July 31, 1946. An Army veteran he served with Cannon Co. 11th Infantry and was a technician fourth grade. He served in Central Europe and was awarded an Army Occupation Medal, American Theater and European African, Middle Eastern Theater ribbons

Active in sports, he played soccer with the Harmarville Hurricanes and Acmetonia teams. He also played baseball with an Acmetonia team.

He was employed 36 years in the maintenance department of Ingall Iron Works, Verona.

Mr. Fedoush was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic, Tarentum; Harmar Township Fire Department; Western Pennsylvania Fire Department and American Slovenian Club, Acmetonia.

Survivors include his widow, Anna C, Rebrey Fedoush; a son Joseph C. Jr.of Hubbard, Ohio; three brothers: John R. of Conneaut, Ohio, Stephen of New Kensington and Rudolph of Cheswick; three sisters: Mrs. Gaylord (Marie) Hegedus of Wilkinsburg and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Michael and a sister, Mrs. Anna Vranka.

Friends will be received this evening after 7 and from 11 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Albert H. Duster and Sons Funeral Home, Tarentum. A Panahida service will be conducted Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by divine liturgy at 10 in SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. The Rev, Paul M. Graycar will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Munhall. A Parastas will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Harmar Township firemen will meet in the fire hall at 8 p.m. Wednesday to proceed to the funeral home.
