Homer C Johns
Funeral for Homer C. Johns, 68, of 720 Arcadia Ave., Decatur, was held Saturday at Trinity Chapel. The Rev. H. Allen Redd officiated. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Mr. Johns, retired carpenter, was born in Paulding County. He died Wednesday.
Surviving are the widow, the former Hettie Ayers; a daughter, Mrs. P. H. Erhardt of Tucket; sons, William E. Johns of Stone Mountain, Thomas M. Johns of Decatur and Clifford E. Johns of Irving, Tex.; sisters, Mrs. Carl Parris and Mrs. Ed McCravy, both of Douglasville, Mrs. Leila Hardy of Memphis, Mrs. Noah Swafford of Austell and Mrs. Guy Rainwater of Atlanta; a brother, William E. Johns of Douglasville; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
