Gloria C. Bechthold, 64, of Lindstrom died on April 24, 2008. Gloria had a strong and proud Northern Minnesota spirit, growing up near Duluth. She raised her family in Chisago County and had a very caring and giving heart. She will be missed by all who were privileged to know her. She was preceded in death by parents Melbourne & Dorothy Shaw; daughter Brenda; sister Charlotte Weise; brother Melbourne Shaw Jr.; and brother-in-law Norman McCuskey. Gloria is survived by children, John (Tammy) Bechthold, Michele (Kris) Olson, Patty Bechthold, & James (Lori) Bechthold;five grandchildren, Amber, Noah, Megan, Carter, & Sarah; siblings, Gary (Linda) Shaw, Dorothy McCuskey, & Peggy (Marlyn) Koski; brother-in-law Earl Weise; ex-husband Lowell Bechthold and many special nieces, nephews & other relatives. MEMORIAL SERVICE:2 p.m. Friday May 2, 2008 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minn. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at 11 a.m. Saturday May 3, 2008 at Nickerson Community Cemetery in Nickerson, Minn, Memorials Preferred 651-257-4000
