She was born in Stephens City, Virginia, daughter of the late Calvin H. and Nettie V. Derflinger Warren.

She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Hanover.
Besides her husband, Maurice N. Herman, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edgar (Virgie) Masemer of 306 Penn St., Hanover.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family by her pastor, Rev. Carl A. Folk. Burial will be in Hampton Cemetery.
The family suggests that contributions be made to the Milton S. Hershey Medial Center Cancer Research Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick St., Hanover.
