Mr. Hendershot was assessor of Mansfield Township for 18 years. He was a retired house painter. Born in Anderson he was a son of the late Robert S. and Mary E. Seals Hendershot.
He was a member of Anderson Methodist Church, Mansfield Lodge F & AM, American Advocate Council, Sons and Daughters of Liberty and the Anderson Schoolhouse Club.
His sister is the nearest survivor. He also leaves nieces and nephews.
