Elk Rapids Woman Dies
Mrs. Sarah Barach Koloski, 43, of Elk Rapids, died Sunday night at Munson hospital after several months of illness.
Mrs. Koloski was born Nov. 15, 1911, in Yukon, Penn., where she lived until 1926, when she moved to Detroit. In 1931, she married Mack Koloski. In 1946, the couple moved to Elk Rapids where she lived until her death.
The Rosary will be said at 5 p.m. Tuesday from Dockery-Wilhelm Chapel. Requiem mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Sacred Heart church, Elk Rapids.
The Rev. Donald Farrell will officiate. Interment will be at Maple Grove cemetery, Elk Rapids.
Mrs. Koloski is survived by her husband; three sons, Richard Koloski of Columbus, Miss., Gerald Koloski of Mansion, England, and Leon Koloski at home; a daughter,
Marlene Koloski at home; two sisters, Mrs. Steven Zivkovich of Colon, and Mrs. Louis Uhan, Jr., of Detroit; and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Mack Koloski, Jr, preceded Mrs. Koloski in death in
1947.
